Now the trek contains many shepherd routes but the famous route starts from Jalori Pass which includes the dense forest and a beautiful lake, Sreolsar Lake is the main attraction point for all hikers and a Holy place for locals and Pahari Hindus. Lake is situated in the middle of the forest with a beautiful temple of goddess Budhi Nagin Mata Ji which you can reach by doing a small hike on a trail route of 2 hours and a distance of about 6 km from Jalori Pass.

Sreolsar Lake

Most hikers and locals stay near Sreolsar Lake for the Night, by putting camps, government-authorized Pagoda, and Tabernacle.

The next morning only a few hikers go on Lambri Trail and the rest of the people head back towards Jalori Pass. Lambri trail is slightly tough for beginners, from lakeside it will take 5-6 hrs to reach Shepherd Hut meadows where you can put your camp and look for water resources.

Do we need a guide for the Lambri Top Trek?
If you are not a professional Trekker or Hiker then I suggest you go with the local guide or in a group because the hike is so challenging and you have to travel between the dense forest full of wild Animals. The Great Himalayan National Park of Kullu is right beside the forest so you never know if you have to face wild animals you can’t survive the forest alone.
So try not to go alone either look for the company of fellow hikers or go with a guide.
