What is the best time to trek Satopanth Tal?
the trek usually opens in April because of the snow-covered area, and then it will be open for 03 months ( April, May, and June).

July and August’s month are not good for this trek because of the rainy season’s harsh conditions and the toughness of the trek.

the trek reopens in September for more than 03 months (September, October, and November) and after that, the trek remains closed due to heavy snow and harsh winters.

Do we need a Guide and Porters?
You can do this trek with a Guide and potters because the trek is for advanced trekkers and tough conditions and a long journey of 50kms approx can check your stamina and survival skills in the mountains and due to lack of markings you can easily lose your trail path, so it’s better to have a guide and it’s a long journey of 6-7 days for advance hikkers so you also need porters for your extra load.
