Raghupur Garh Fort Jalori

Raghupur Garh was mainly built by the Thakur ruler named Raghu Thakur. So the Kothi Prangan Garh is named Raghupur. Now you will only find the ruins of the Fort and Shri Shringa Rishi Ji Temple as a ruler and protector of the Garh. I also saw one more temple just before the Fort ruins, as per locals the temple belongs to Veer (Pahari God or Himachali God).

Experience Travel Itinerary and some Experiences
We started our journey from our hometown town Kullu (Ani), In the early morning after breakfast we headed towards Nagaan Petrol Pump to fill up the petrol tank and then started an uphill drive towards Jaloripass. It was a pleasant drive but very steep otherwise road conditions are amazing.

After reaching Jaloripass we took a halt for 30 minutes to do pooja and get some blessings from Jogni Mata and Budhi Nagan Mata and then headed towards the Jungle to set our Camp and prepare food for the night, we looked for some broken trees for the bonfire.

After watching a pleasant sunset we started our bonfire and enjoyed the Full Moon camping and dinner then went to sleep early to capture the sunrise vibes.

The next day early in the morning we tried to capture the sunrise but surprisingly the sunrise rose at 5:30 AM approx I was a little late and the Crow gathered near our campsite and started eating our stuff which we hung outside and one of our campmates woke up and saved the remaining things from the crows and later we all worked up and come outside to enjoy the beautiful sights and sunrise and later we freshened up in the open wild Jungle (There are Lots of Toilet options)but we decided the wild option.

Then we prepared our breakfast and after that, we packed our camp and other stuff and started hiking towards Raghupur Garh with some locals it was a very quiet and pleasant walk of 2km and then a small elevation of 500 meters to reach Raghupur meadows.

We almost reached there within 1 hour with many halts underway. Once we reached there we rested and enjoyed the view for 2-3 hours and after clicking some memories and having some snacks we headed back towards Jalori Pass.

Food and Water are costly as compared to roadside shops. They also provide horse rides for full track for Rs2000/- approx for 6kms.
